Before you spend your hard earned cash, do some research. Here are five things you need to know before seeking out a consultation with a phone psychic.
1. There are a lots of Charlatans
It is sad to say, as with many professions that there are people out there who pretend to be something they are not. Their end goal is to rob you of your cash. In the psychic world we have many of these people who are what we call opportunists they see the opportunity of people looking for answers and they take the opportunity to rob.
There are many factors of what distinguishes a real and fake psychic. Many fake psychics offer abilities that no one is capable off. Offer people in pain for an estranged partner to come back, this goes against the universal laws of free will and is not possible, lost loved returning is a free will principle no psychic has the ability to bring them back. Or someone has casted black magic spell on you, and you need that to be cleared and your life will turn good. Black magic only controls those who believe they are being affected, it’s just a manifestation of your beliefs and fears. You are in total control.
2. Are All Psychics the Same?
Psychic is a term which can be applied to people with a range of psychic abilities.
We have Mediums who are psychics that communicate with spirits in the afterlife. Other psychics have skills like clairvoyance, dowsing,. divination, precognition, and the list goes on.

Let me start of with an example fresh in my mind. The other day a woman called me to ask about a psychic reading, her first question was “how good of a psychic are you?” I don’t like to rate myself, people come back for readings from me so repeat customers are a good indication that I must be giving them readings that resonate with them. I went on to tell her I didn’t do in person readings that all readings are done via the phone, she said “I don’t want to do phone readings, you ain’t really a psychic!”, to avoid having to justify my gifts and abilities I gracefully said “that is your opinion, and I respect you for that,” finally she said did I know of any psychics that did in person readings, I gave her a bookshop name that has resident psychics, and then she said what’s their number, so I looked it up to give it to her. Once again she said “you should have known their number if you are a psychic.” This example is of someone who has expectations and little knowledge of how psychics actually work. And sadly for this person to get a reading so closed off would be a waste of money for her, and a waste of time for the psychic.
Psychics can be described as vessels that the spiritual realm uses to communicate threw them. Psychics have no control of the information they are shown or told.
One of the best questions to ask a psychic is not to worry about the past but how to move forward. You could ask something like, “What am I doing wrong right now?” or “What is my life path, and what purpose do I have?”
4. Be Prepared to Listen
It is important that you allow the psychic to do most of the talking during a reading.
The first reason for this, a fraud will want to keep you on the phone as long as they can, so they can learn more about you. Once you give that information over they will craft their reading to reflect what you have already told them.
Secondly, a customer that constantly talks generally irritates an authentic psychic, as they try to focus on their senses. If your psychic has a question for you they will ask you. So before you share, ask the psychic if it’s okay for you to elaborate.
5. Always Allow Yourself Time to Process
Don’t discount what the psychic said because you don’t see the particular event happening or you believe that it will never happen. It is important to have an open mind and don’t write off the entire reading because they said something you can’t see happening.
Within the psychic industry we refer to the condition “psychic amnesia” in which a client doesn’t recognise what the psychic is seeing or hearing. Don’t worry this is just temporary, and as you process the reading more your memory will return.
Readings have a lingering effect, what you were told could be processed in your brain for days, weeks, and even months. It is important to remember calling a psychic everyday doesn’t give the opportunity for what you have been told from your last reading to manifest. It is extremely important that if you are in crisis and find yourself psychic shopping, you will end up being so confused that your whole sense of reality will disappear.
