Saturn Retrograde what does it mean? As we start getting back to normal, hang on, the universe has thrown us another Astrological event with Venus now in Retrograde when I say Venus Retrograde, I mean that planet Venus is appearing to move backwards and therefore slowing down, everything and everyone that comes under it’s rule may find this time challenging.  If you were born in Taurus or Libra you might find this time a bit difficult the things that your ruler Venus looks after such as beauty, money and love may be put on hold for a bit.  But this also goes for all other signs as well.

Venus goes retrograde roughly every 18 months.  (Thankfully, not as often as that famous little planet Mercury).  It’s effect lasts for 40 days and 40 nights.   So Venus has put her Prada’s on and has dug her heels in from the 14th May to 26th June all the way though Gemini.

Let’s take a look at what you will find problematic over the 40 days period:

Beauty:

Do NOT get a brand new hairstyle or have cosmetic procedures of surgery to beautify yourself around this time.  It may not work out the way you expect it to, and no doubt you will later regret your choices once Venus goes direct.

Money:

You’ll probably have the urge to buy something luxurious.  During this time generally people are not the most practical, so hold off buying those major or luxury purchases such as jewellery, cars, or even that new home.  Anyways, just remember the half year sales are only a few days off the end of Venus retrograde.  Purchases you make during this time may rupture your budget and often people overlook the small print that will leave then with expensive future troubles.

However, it’s not all bad, you want to turn some of those impulse purchases from the past into $$$$ it is a great time to get yourself on ebay you will make a killing, and just remember the magpies are out they will buy anything during this period, you know the things that if a person was in their right mind outside of the Venus retrograde.

Love:

The best advice I can give is take it SLOW!

If you meet someone when the planet of love is on a go slow, they generally appear to good to be true, and guess what they actually are.  So wait until after the Venus Retrograde before making firm decisions.  In this time it is NOT the time to pack your bags show up on their doorstep and move in, declaring undying love.  Even worst hang off on the Engagement or Marriage.  It is the worst time to get married, but i think this Venus Retrograde cycle many people won’t be getting married at the moment so we are spared of the disasters until the next Venus Retrograde.

The good news is, if you already are in a relationship it shouldn’t be  affected by this Retrograde.  That is making the assumption that the relationship is in a reasonably good healthy before the retrograde began.

Although it is a time to re-evaluate things in your life.  Venus Retrograde gives us the opportunity to work out what really makes us happy.

Venus rules our values and when she’s moving backwards in those stylish Prada heels she wants to make sure we are truly aligned with our values and self-worth.  So old wounds could be opened, and if you skeletons in the closet it’s a great time to pull them out dust them off and put them to rest once and for all.
